“Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind.”
Travelling has given me some of my best memories, and compared to many I’m a novice traveller.
I didn’t do a gap year, or spend a few months away from home – all of my travels have been single trips, but I’ve been extremely lucky to see the places I’ve already visited, and I plan on seeing a LOT more.
Without a doubt, I suffer from Wanderlust. I want to see as much of this planet as possible and my Wanderlust only grows with each new country I visit. My travel bucket list is overflowing with places I NEED to explore, it is a shame the bank balance can’t keep up!
Seeing the different ways-of-life people live by is one of my favourite parts of travelling. Immersing yourself in another culture is truly eye-opening, and excuse the cliche, it does change you for the better.
It’s crazy how different places can inspire you and while you are away you can adapt to these different cultures. There is also something special about finding secret little spots that aren’t so ‘touristy’. Going off the beaten track can result in finding hidden gems and places you wouldn’t find when planning your trip online.
Although a lot of the ‘touristy’ spots are just as breathtaking.or those who may be a little apprehensive when it comes to travelling abroad, there are so many places closer to home to explore.
I believe travel is good for the soul, it can provide you with that well-needed break or open your eyes to another world. What’s not to love?
